The GOP Pirates

In 2021, several establishment Republicans in Horry County, SC lost at the biennual election called Reorg (Reorganization).

At Reorg, Republicans gather to elect leadership for the precinct they live in, county leadership is elected next, and lastly state leadership is elected.  Drew McKissick (The state GOP Chairman) and five establishment “GOP Pirates” did not like who the citizens of Horry County elected.  They colluded to circumvent the election results.  They created a Telegram chat they called the “GOP Pirates” to plot how they could undermine the will of the people.  Learn about their plot in their own words.

On page one you will find 3 videos detailing how the self-described GOP Pirates plotted with the head of the South Carolina GOP, Drew McKissick, to take over the Horry County GOP.  McKissick sought to divide and destroy the HCGOP so that his cronies could take over the party in order for him to be reelected.
